Role Overview:
\n<\/strong>The Operations Executive\/ OMS Controller is responsible for managing and coordinating freight forwarding operations to ensure seamless cargo movement and exceptional customer service. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational e\ufb03ciency, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction through e\ufb00ective order management, documentation processing, and continuous monitoring of shipments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:
\n<\/strong>\u2022 Arrange and process orders according to specific client specifications and requirements.
\n\u2022 Analyze rates against cargo urgency, cost considerations, and delivery timelines to optimize service delivery.
\n\u2022 Review and verify pre-alert documents for accuracy and register files systematically in company systems.
\n\u2022 Generate and distribute comprehensive status reports of all sea shipments to clients regularly.
\n\u2022 Track vessel and flight schedules to provide accurate updates on arrival dates and keep all parties informed.
\n\u2022 Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
\n\u2022 Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous operational improvement.
\n\u2022 Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
\n\u2022 Monitor and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to exceed customer expectations.
\n\u2022 Conduct periodic operational audits to assess compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
\n\u2022 Implement corrective actions to resolve non-compliance issues and enhance operational performance.
\n\u2022 Communicate cargo details, readiness dates, sailing schedules, flight information, and any delays promptly to clients.
\n\u2022 Submit documentation files to RCG in accordance with the specific mode requirements and procedures.
\n\u2022 Process foreign invoices on the billing systems with appropriate rate indications on the FOCUS billing platform.
\n\u2022 Compile foreign invoices systematically and forward them to the accounts department on a weekly basis.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Requirements:
\n<\/strong>\u2022 Proven experience in ocean and air freight products and operations.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Comprehensive knowledge of international ocean freight and air freight import regulations, customs procedures, and industry best practices.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Pro\ufb01ciency in English (written and verbal). Additional languages may be advantageous.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Fluency in MS O\ufb03ce (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general internet navigation and research skills.<\/span><\/p>\n
