The job holder will ensure efficient and timely handling of shipments, manage customer relationships, coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, and maintain accurate documentation and records.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate and oversee the end-to-end shipment process, including booking, documentation, customs clearance, and delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with carriers, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor shipment status, track cargo, and address any issues or delays in a proactive manner.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and industry standards.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and accurate information on shipment status, rates, and services.<\/li>\n<li>Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints, resolving issues promptly and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively communicate with customers to understand their requirements and provide suitable solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and offering value-added services.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate and complete documentation for all shipments, including bills of lading, customs forms, and other relevant documents.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain organized records of shipment-related information, including tracking numbers, invoices, and delivery receipts.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the documentation team to ensure compliance with documentation procedures and industry standards.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit required reports to management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost optimization, and process efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal teams, such as logistics, warehouse, and transportation, to streamline operations and enhance service quality.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to quality standards, company policies, and industry regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet customer expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct periodic audits to assess operational compliance and identify areas for improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Implement corrective actions to address non-compliance issues and improve operational performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>1-2 years of experience in operations or a similar role in the freight forwarding industry.<\/li>\n<li>Expereince handling Export files is a must, knowledge of Import is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, including documentation, customs regulations, and industry practices.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with international trade terms and shipping documentation requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
