Role Overview:
The Assistant Finance Manager will lead the finance and accounting function at ISS Turkey, playing a key role in overseeing financial operations and supporting strategic decision-making. Reporting to the Regional CFO, EMEA, this role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, while maintaining compliance with both internal policies and external regulations.
The ideal candidate can be based in either Istanbul or Dubai and will contribute directly to the company’s financial health by improving performance, enabling data-driven decisions, and continuously improving financial processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual), ensuring compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, variances, and KPIs, and provide actionable insights to management.
• Develop and support annual budgets, revenue forecasts, expense projections, and capital expenditure planning.
• Monitor budget performance, analyze deviations, and recommend cost-control measures.
• Prepare financial forecasts and cash flow projections to support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate business performance, profitability, and ROI.
• Oversee day-to-day finance operations: accounts payable/receivable, cash management, payroll coordination, tax filing, reconciliations, job controlling, and general ledger.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data via regular reconciliations, controls, and compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with auditors, banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and revenue enhancement.
• Provide mentorship to junior finance team members and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
Requirements:
• Strong understanding of Turkish TRFS (Turkish Financial Reporting Standards) is a must.
• Proficiency in English and Turkish is a must.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Professional certification such as CPA, CMA preferred).
• 5–7 years of relevant finance or accounting experience with strong knowledge of financial principles and regulations.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
