Role Overview:
\n<\/strong>The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s freight forwarding and logistics operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient transportation of goods, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence while managing teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:
\n<\/strong>\u2022 Oversee comprehensive logistics operations and transportation of goods across multiple channels.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Manage customs documentation processes and ensure regulatory compliance.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Supervise operational staff and monitor real-time shipment tracking systems.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Ensure strict adherence to company policies and international regulations.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Prepare and manage operational budgets and performance reports for senior management.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Enhance operational systems, processes, and implement industry best practices.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Coordinate with carriers and negotiate competitive shipping rates and terms.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to drive efficient operations.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Manage comprehensive day-to-day operations while overseeing the operations team and department.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Negotiate strategic contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable pricing and terms.<\/span><\/p>\n

Requirements:
\n<\/strong>\u2022 Extensive experience as an operations professional in the freight forwarding and logistics industry.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Comprehensive knowledge of operational process flows in both Air and Ocean Freight operations.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.<\/span>
\n\u2022 In-depth knowledge of Government policies, regulatory requirements, customs procedures, and other regulatory bodies.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Strong organizational competencies and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general internet navigation.<\/span><\/p>\n
