Role Overview:<\/strong> The Pricing Analyst is responsible for managing complex and high-value quotations, supporting the development of the estimating function, and driving consistent estimating standards through a structured, shared-load operating model. To produce accurate, commercially competitive freight estimates across all transport modes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities
\n<\/strong><\/span>\u2022\u00a0 Analyse market trends, competitor pricing, and customer requirements to support pricing decisions.
\n\u2022\u00a0 <\/span>Conduct pricing research and gather relevant data to identify pricing opportunities and risks.
\n<\/span>\u2022\u00a0 Monitor and evaluate pricing performance against targets and recommend adjustments as needed.
\n<\/span>\u2022\u00a0 Collaborate with the pricing team to develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with business objectives.
\n<\/span>\u2022\u00a0 Identify pricing trends and recommend adjustments to pricing structures to remain competitive in the market.
\n<\/span>\u2022\u00a0 Provide insights and recommendations on pricing strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
\n<\/span>\u2022\u00a0 Prepare and review pricing proposals and quotations based on customer requirements and pricing structures.
\n<\/span>\u2022\u00a0 Utilise pricing tools and systems to calculate costs, apply pricing rules, and determine pricing guidelines.
\n<\/span>\u2022\u00a0 Ensure accuracy and timeliness in preparing and submitting pricing proposals to customers.

Requirements
\n<\/strong><\/span>\u2022\u00a0 Matric (essential); relevant Freight Forwarding or Supply Chain Management certifications are advantageous.
\n<\/span>\u2022\u00a0 3\u20135 years of experience in a pricing role within the Clearing and Forwarding industry is non-negotiable.
\n<\/span>\u2022\u00a0 Proven experience in preparing estimates and quotations specifically for Project Cargo is essential.
\n<\/span>\u2022\u00a0 Strong knowledge of multiple modes of transport, including road, sea, and specialised cargo movements.
\n<\/span>\u2022\u00a0 Sound understanding and working knowledge of Incoterms is non-negotiable.
\n<\/span>\u2022\u00a0 Strong commercial and financial understanding.
\n<\/span>\u2022\u00a0 Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
\n<\/span>\u2022\u00a0 Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
