Please note that Integrated Service Solutions Global Forwarding and its subsidiaries operating under the brand ISS (“ISS”, “us”, “we” and “our”) is the controller of your Personal Data and is subject to applicable data protection laws and regulations, which may include, but not be limited to, the EU General Data Protection Regulations 2016/679 (“GDPR Regulations”).

We note that under the GDPR Regulations, ‘Personal Data’ means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

We further note that under the GDPR Regulations, ‘processing’ means any operation or set of operations which is performed on Personal Data or on sets of Personal Data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.

This Privacy Notice describes the types of Personal Data we collect, how we use the information, with whom we share it, and the choices you can make about our use of the information. We also describe the measures we take to protect the security of the information and how you can contact us about our privacy practices. We take your privacy seriously and take every reasonable effort to protect the information you provide to us.

The Privacy Notices below further explain how particular companies in the ISS collect, use and disclose your Personal Data and your rights in relation to the data held by ISS.

In certain cases, we may ask for your consent to collect and process your Personal Data. Should you choose to provide your consent, you may later withdraw your consent by contacting us as described in the “REACH OUT TO US” section below. Please note that the withdrawal of consent will not affect the processing that has already occurred.


We may collect your Personal Data in several ways including but not limited to:

  1. From the information that you provide us by filling any form that is available on our Website, or by visiting our LinkedIn page and/or other platforms.
  2. From the information that you provide when you contact us seeking a quotation for services or employment with us.
  3. Form the publicly available resources or from any third parties, where we have to conduct a background check or pre-employment screening about you.
  4. From the custodian of your assets, and government bodies.
  5. From your advisors, agents, or intermediaries.
  6. From any other company in ISS.
  7. From the information that you provide us when you meet us.
  8. From the information about you provided to us by your company or an intermediary.
  9. When you (or when on your behalf we/third party) complete client onboarding applications or other forms – if any – with us.
  10. When you communicate with us by telephone, fax, email, or other forms of electronic communication. In this respect, we may monitor, record, and store any such communication.

We may collect the Personal Data about you in the following categories

  1. Your name and contact information such as your home or your business address, email, and telephone number.
  2. Your details such as your date of birth, tax identification number, your passport number or national identity details card details, information regarding your nationality, domicile country, your educational qualification, and vocational training details.
  3. Information regarding your financial situation such as income, expenses, assets and liabilities, source of wealth, as well as your bank account details.
  4. Information about your knowledge and experience in the freight forwarding industry.
  5. An understanding of your goals, objectives, and interests in procuring our services.
  6. Information about your previous employment, education, family or personal circumstances, and interest where relevant.
  7. Any relevant information to assess whether you are/ may be connected with/ or represent a politically exposed person or money laundering risk.
  8. Any other categories of Personal Data as the case may be.

We may, for contractual reasons, process your Personal Data necessary for the performance of our contract with you. In relation to this, we may use your Personal Data for performing our services (e.g. contracting; handling payments; carrying out a shipment) that we can offer OR to provide you services set out in any of our agreement entered with you from time to time OR for any other purpose for which you provided us with your Personal Data.

Shipment datas may also be provided to the competent authorities of the country of transit or destination for customs and tax clearance or security screening, as required by to comply with the relevant laws. With specific regard to shipping, the information needed may be related to: shipper name and address, receiver name and address, description of the goods, number of pieces, weight and value of shipment.

We may use submitted information to provide you with relevant service offerings to better respond to your service inquiries or respond to complaints.

We collect and use information about you to support our customer service and support activities or related transactions. This can include but is not limited to, warranty services, financing or purchasing, product delivery, and maintenance support.

To detect, and protect ISS and other third parties against negligence, fraud, theft and other illegal activities and to audit compliance with our and their internal policies, we may also conduct anti-fraud checks for which personal information you provided us may be disclosed to a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of that information.


Under the GDPR Regulations, we process Personal Data provided by visitors through our website on the basis of consent and we have legal basis to process your Personal Data to protect our legitimate business interest, and/or legitimate interest of any other person.

In other instances, the processing of your Personal Data may be necessary to comply with applicable law or regulation or for the performance of a contract to which you are subject. You may not be able to opt out of this processing, or your choice to opt-out may impact our ability to perform a contractual obligation otherwise owed to you.

We may also process Personal Data on other basis permitted by the GDPR and applicable laws, such as when the processing is necessary for us to comply with our legal obligations.


We use various service providers to manage our website and provide services or manage e-mail communications. Our service providers change from time to time. Kindly note that our service providers have entered into contracts with us that restrict what they can do with your Personal Data.


ISS’s main offices are based in the United Arab Emirates and that’s where we process Personal Data collected through our website. Please note that we may transfer, store, or process your personal data outside of the jurisdiction where you are based only and in compliance with any applicable data protection laws and regulations. We commit to take appropriate steps to protect your privacy and implement all reasonable security measures to protect your Personal Data in storage. We use secure transmission methods to collect Personal Data through our website. We also enter into contracts with our data processors that require them to treat Personal Data in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Notice and the applicable laws.


The period which we retain your Personal Data varies according to the type of information in question and the purpose for which it is used, and in any case always in compliance with the applicable law. We delete Personal Data within a reasonable period after we no longer need to use it for the purpose for which it was collected (or for any subsequent purpose that is compatible with the original purpose). This does not affect your right to request that we delete your Personal Data before the end of its retention period. We may archive Personal Data (which means storing it in inactive files) for a certain period prior to its final deletion, as part of our ordinary business continuity procedures.


We may send you marketing communications about our services, or similar of related services that we provide in form of alters, newsletters and invitations to events or functions which in our opinion are of interest to you.

We may communicate this to you in a number of ways including by post, telephone, email, SMS or other digital channels.

This Privacy Notice supersedes any previous Privacy Notice or equivalent which you may have seen earlier to the Effective date provided hereinabove.


Under the Data Protection Laws, you have the following rights:

  1. To ask for a copy of, and to access your Personal Data held by us.
  2. In the event, any of your Personal Data held by us is incorrect, ask us to rectify that with the correct information.
  3. To demand that we cease to process your Personal Data, in the circumstances, wherein the processing is leading to damage or distress to you.
  4. To delete your Personal Data completely from our records.
  5. To demand that we restrict our data processing activities with respect to your Personal Data.
  6. To seek information free of charge, unless our data controller can demonstrate that your request is manifestly unfounded or manifestly excessive.
  7. To demand that we do not send you any marketing communications.
  8. To receive from us your Personal Data held by us in a reasonable format specified by you, so that you can provide that Personal Data to any other data controller.

The rights specified above are not absolute and also not unqualified. We retain the right to refuse your request where exceptions apply.
