Role Overview:<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

The Ocean Pricing Manager will oversee and develop pricing strategies for ocean freight services, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with global procurement strategies.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

\u00a0\u2022 <\/span>Strategic Leadership:<\/strong> Lead a team in executing the global procurement strategy for ocean freight, including managing allocated capacity and monitoring carrier invoicing.
\n\u00a0\u2022 <\/span>Pricing Development:<\/strong> Develop and define internal local rates and ensure alignment with globally set rates and guidelines.
\n\u00a0\u2022 <\/span>Rate Management:<\/strong> Handle rate inquiries, tenders, and RFQs, ensuring competitive pricing and successful business acquisition.
\n\u00a0\u2022 <\/span>Negotiations: <\/strong>Participate in contract and price negotiations with carriers and subcontractors to achieve optimal terms and conditions.
\n\u00a0\u2022 <\/span>Market Optimization:<\/strong> Forecast and procure locally and on the spot market, optimizing and consolidating in line with regional logistics strategies and guidelines.
\n\u00a0\u2022 <\/span>Performance Monitoring:<\/strong> Monitor carrier performance, analyze service quality, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
\n\u00a0\u2022 <\/span>Project Management:<\/strong> Define and set up internal local rates in the system, manage costing for special transportation needs, and ensure smooth implementation of pricing strategies.
\n\u00a0\u2022 <\/span>Collaboration:<\/strong> Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment of pricing strategies and support business development.
\n\u00a0\u2022 Reporting:<\/strong> Prepare and present reports on pricing, market trends, and performance to management.<\/span><\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

\u2022 Education:<\/strong> Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
\n\u2022 Experience:<\/strong> 8-10 years of experience in ocean freight pricing or related roles within the freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics industry. Experience with multinational companies (MNCs) is preferred.
\n\u2022 Knowledge:<\/strong> Deep understanding of ocean freight products and pricing strategies.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Skills:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Strong project management and negotiation skills.
\n\u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
\n\u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
\n\u2022 Effective communication skills in English and Thai.
\n\u2022 Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
\n\u2022 Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.<\/p>\n
