Role Overview:
\n<\/strong>The Pricing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize pro\ufb01tability and competitiveness. The job holder will analyze market trends, manage pricing models, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine optimal pricing structures.<\/span><\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:
\n<\/strong>\u00a0\u2022 Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize pro\ufb01tability while remaining competitive in the market.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u2022 Conduct market research and analysis to identify pricing trends, customer needs, and competitor pricing strategies.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u2022 Collaborate with the sales teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives and customer requirements.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u2022 Determine pricing models and structures for various service o\ufb00erings based on cost analysis, market demand, and pricing elasticity.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u2022 Analyse pricing data, sales performance, and market trends to evaluate the e\ufb00ectiveness of pricing strategies.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u2022 Monitor and adjust pricing levels as necessary to maintain competitiveness and achieve revenue targets.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u2022 Conduct regular pricing reviews and update pricing policies and guidelines accordingly.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u2022 Develop and maintain pricing databases, tools, and systems to ensure accuracy and e\ufb03ciency in pricing processes.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u2022 Collaborate with \ufb01nance and operations teams to analyse costs and determine pricing levels that ensure pro\ufb01tability.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u2022 Conduct cost benchmarking exercises and cost-saving analyses to identify opportunities for cost optimization and margin improvement.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u2022 Prepare pricing proposals for customers, considering service requirements, cost structures, and pro\ufb01tability targets.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u2022 Support the sales team in contract negotiations by providing pricing guidance and analysis.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u2022 Ensure compliance with pricing policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u2022 Implement pricing governance processes and controls to maintain pricing integrity and consistency.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u2022 Develop and maintain documentation of pricing strategies, guidelines, and pricing-related policies and procedures.<\/span>
\n \u2022 Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to address pricing-related audit \ufb01ndings and implement corrective actions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Requirements:
\n<\/strong> \u00a0\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related \ufb01eld.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u2022 3-4 years of experience in pricing management, revenue management, or related roles within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u2022 In-depth knowledge of pricing strategies, models, and methodologies within the freight forwarding industry.<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u2022 Pro\ufb01ciency in English (written and verbal). Additional languages may be advantageous.<\/span>
\n \u2022 Fluency in MS O\ufb03ce (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills.<\/span><\/p>\n
