Role Overview:
The Finance Executive is responsible for handling and overseeing various financial functions within the organization. The job holder will be ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and providing financial analysis and support. The Finance Executive plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organization, supporting decision-making processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
 • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording and verifying financial transactions.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Generate periodic financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for regulatory and compliance purposes.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets in collaboration with department heads and senior management.
• Prepare budget reports, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for cost control and resource allocation.
• Support the forecasting process by providing financial data and analysis for future planning.
• Conduct financial analysis, interpret data, and identify trends, patterns, and variances.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
• Analyze financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the organization’s financial health and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic planning and business initiatives.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the availability of funds for operational needs and financial obligations.
• Forecast cash flow requirements and identify potential cash flow gaps or surpluses.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize cash flow and liquidity management.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal financial policies and procedures.
• Assist in coordinating and facilitating internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks by implementing appropriate controls and processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as executives, department heads, and operational teams, to provide financial guidance and support.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions, as required.
• Respond to inquiries and provide financial information to internal and external stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:
 • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CMA, or CPA is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar finance role, with a strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent knowledge of financial reporting standards, accounting principles, and financial analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal). Additional languages may be advantageous.
• Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills.
