Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager Support the commercial growth of Freight Forwarding business by bringing new customers on board and additional business from existing customers whilst managing multiple relationships internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve the company’s sales goals and objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities,
• Prepare and present proposals to clients that align with their business needs and objectives.
• Participate in industry events and conferences to promote the company and build relationships with potential clients.
• Prepare and present business development reports to senior management on a regular basis.

Requirements:
 • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales plans, and securing new business in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain high-level client relationships, negotiate complex contracts, and close large-scale deals.
• Results-oriented mindset with strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
 • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (written and verbal); proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
• Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills.
