ISS GF’s presence in Ethiopia, through its exclusive local partner, brings together our global freight forwarding standards with the on-ground expertise required to manage both unimodal and multimodal operations.
The team connects cargo arriving at Djibouti Port to Ethiopia’s major dry ports, including Modjo, Gelan, Dire Dawa, Semera, Kombolcha, Mekelle, Worota, and Kality, with typical inland lead times ranging from one to three days depending on the destination.
Our Ethiopia operations support the country’s key trading partners with door-to-door solutions.
Ocean freight imports – primarily from the UAE, India, Bahrain, Egypt, and China – serve sectors such as infrastructure, industrial projects, construction materials, and manufacturing.
Air freight imports from the UAE, India, Belgium, and Egypt support the healthcare industry , including pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, as well as telecommunications and industrial manufacturing.
