Role Overview:
The Senior Sales Executive will play a key role in driving commercial growth and expanding ISS Global Forwarding’s presence in Mauritius. Reporting directly to the Country Manager, the role focuses on developing key trade lanes – including China, India, Türkiye, UAE, and South Africa – while identifying and securing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background in freight forwarding and be responsible for achieving monthly Gross Profit targets. This role requires close collaboration with the operations team to ensure a seamless client experience, from first contact to execution. It offers the opportunity to build a strategic portfolio within a globally recognized logistics network, with performance-based incentives and career growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and secure new business opportunities to generate Gross Profit (GP) in line with monthly goals.
• Develop trade lanes: China, India, Türkiye, UAE, South Africa (inbound & outbound).
• Meet and exceed sales targets set in line with the company’s strategy.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and solutions to prospective clients.
• Work closely with Operations to ensure client satisfaction and smooth handovers.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline through effective lead generation and CRM updates.
• Represent ISS at relevant industry functions and networking events.
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of sales/business development experience in freight forwarding/logistics.
• Proven track record of client acquisition and achieving revenue targets.
• Strong knowledge of regional and international trade lanes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated, result-driven, and organized.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Fluent in English and French (Creole is a bonus).
