Role Overview:
We are seeking sales-driven Business Development Managers to join our dynamic team in Istanbul. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by acquiring and developing new customers, managing strategic sales opportunities across air and sea freight services, and building strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in freight forwarding sales, strong commercial acumen, and the motivation to deliver outstanding results in a fast-paced international logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute sales strategies while building a portfolio of new customers, focusing on mid-sized and large companies in line with the company’s growth strategy.
• Conduct well-prepared and regular weekly customer meetings.
• Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline, primarily for sea freight and air freight products.
• Drive continuous progress by acting as the key coordinator between customers and internal stakeholders throughout all stages of the sales process.
• Focus primarily on acquiring and developing mid-sized and large controlled business accounts.
• Identify, qualify, and share sales leads within the ISS network.
• Demonstrated experience in local tender management, supported by proven success stories.
• Results-oriented, highly motivated, and driven to achieve business growth.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Based in our Istanbul office.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding sales.
• Strong knowledge of the Product’s services, industry trends, and market dynamics.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal). Additional languages may be advantageous.
• Solid knowledge and experience in:

• Sales Techniques
• CRM Software
• Pricing and Contracting
• Data Analysis
