Role Overview:
The Operations Executive/ OMS Controller is responsible for managing and coordinating freight forwarding operations to ensure seamless cargo movement and exceptional customer service. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction through effective order management, documentation processing, and continuous monitoring of shipments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Arrange and process orders according to specific client specifications and requirements.
• Analyze rates against cargo urgency, cost considerations, and delivery timelines to optimize service delivery.
• Review and verify pre-alert documents for accuracy and register files systematically in company systems.
• Generate and distribute comprehensive status reports of all sea shipments to clients regularly.
• Track vessel and flight schedules to provide accurate updates on arrival dates and keep all parties informed.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous operational improvement.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
• Monitor and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to exceed customer expectations.
• Conduct periodic operational audits to assess compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Implement corrective actions to resolve non-compliance issues and enhance operational performance.
• Communicate cargo details, readiness dates, sailing schedules, flight information, and any delays promptly to clients.
• Submit documentation files to RCG in accordance with the specific mode requirements and procedures.
• Process foreign invoices on the billing systems with appropriate rate indications on the FOCUS billing platform.
• Compile foreign invoices systematically and forward them to the accounts department on a weekly basis.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in ocean and air freight products and operations.

• Comprehensive knowledge of international ocean freight and air freight import regulations, customs procedures, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal). Additional languages may be advantageous.
• Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general internet navigation and research skills.
